In Fashion Events, Fashion Features by Melissa Shea

Did you see us at Paraiso Miami Beach’s takeover of Miami Swim Week? For more than a decade fashion enthusiasts have attended Miami Swim Week. This year Paraiso Maimi Beach took over the event, resulting in a smashing success! There were more than 40 runway shows and experiences by top swimwear brands. Attendees also got the chance to check out The Paraiso Bungalow, a double-decker popup experience.

The Bungalow featured collections from many nationally-recognized brands. These included Chopard, Olivela, Tropic of C, Aloha Collection and more! Upstairs housed a four-day pop up restaurant hosting culinary experiences for brands such as Monday Swimwear, Iorane, Olivela, Chopard and Sinesia Karol.

Just a few steps away from the Bungalow was destination: ipsy. This collection of immersive pop-ups, Instagram-worthy activities, mini-makeovers and beauty treatments was one of the biggest hits of the week.

For the very first time attendees were able to visit a Paraiso-satellite space at Brickell City Centre where renowned brand, Maaji, debuted their Resort 2020 collection. The audience was full of industry influencers and editors. Residents, shoppers, and Miami visitors also had the chance to enjoy the event’s first streetside runway. Brickell City Centre also hosted wellness mornings and other special events during the week.

“It was incredible to see so many new and familiar faces attending over 45 events at Paraiso Miami Beach,” said Aleksander Stojanovic, co-founder of Paraiso Miami Beach. He continued, “While Miami Beach has been a hub for swimwear, it’s only recently that its garnered such notoriety among resort wear brands and luxury retailers along with the attendance of top-tier editors and influencers. Our runway shows represented a new standard in both, beauty and guest experience.”
