Nolcha Fashion Lounge Showcases Emerging Designers at New York Fashion Week

Nolcha Fashion Lounge Spring / Summer 2016 was held at Bo Concept in New York City. A variety of designers were featured ranging in everything from accessories, apparel and beauty care. The space was beautifully lit and laid out for easy viewing and mingling with the designers and guests.

Apparel Designer: Haute House

Apparel designer Haute House brings the runway to your closet. Designer Rufus Dixon says ”Everyday you are the “artist” and your body is the “canvas”, you dress yourself depending on your mood, the weather, and activities for the day.” All pieces are custom made to order to ensure the perfect fit.

Accessory Designers: Charles & Ron, Adora, Syd and Pia, Rajé and Zayver Designs

Charles & Ron is a contemporary lifestyle brand, high-end wearable clothing and bags with a distinct Mediterranean flair and a dedication to superior quality. Maltese culture is an integral part of the Charles & Ron design ethic and the brand’s vision is, to inspire its clients to be part of the instantly recognizable Charles & Ron Mediterranean lifestyle.

Adora handbags are handcrafted in Tuscany from the finest Italian leather. They cut out the middle man to provide the highest quality product to more people than ever. Everything is hand made to ensure the finest craftsmanship.

Syd and Pia is the collection by couture jewelry designer Fernanda Medina. Her archival and recent custom made pieces have a natural raw metal aesthetic, with a timeless New York edge. The inspiration for her brand derives from her hometown, Brooklyn, NY and naturally, her two beautiful daughters,Sydney and Saffia – both names combined to create the company name.

Designer Rajé created a collection inspired by musical instruments and includes actual violin shoulder rests in some of his pieces. The jewelry is nothing less than strong and bold. Rajé rages with the shared story of humanity yet gives each individual the voice and the chance to be heard.

Zayver Jewelry Designs offers one-of-a-kind jewelry that is reminiscent of her international travels. Bela Thacker’s entire collection is comprised of pieces made from semi-precious stones, crystals, brass, silver, and gold plating while also featuring a unique blend of contemporary and traditional styles and colors. Zayver Jewels represents the global woman in all of us with pieces to suite every mood and every moment in our lives.

There was a good health vibe through the event also. Coco Libre Organic coconut water and Sparkling Ice provided healthy low calorie beverages. Parker provide good health from the inside out. The full experience at Nolcha Fashion Lounge was the perfect way to kick off this season’s fashion week.
