• Coordinate assignments that relate to current news, events, or themes.
• Incorporate and coordinate rights to use digital content for each article.
• Support the creation of press releases, blog posts and newsletters.
• Curate and edit member submitted articles.
• Post articles on the blog following the Fashion Mingle style guide and SEO guidelines.
• Create written content for social networking sites.
• Communicate project status in weekly progress reports.

Journalism internships are designed for undergrad students, grad students or recent college graduate in journalism, communications, or a related field.

Applicants must be self-starters with the ability to create project plans, execute independently, and communicate in a professional manner. Experience with Wordpress, Photoshop, and SEO is a plus. 3 month minimum commitment for approximately 10 hours per week.

The Journalism Internship is unpaid – interns who are chosen will receive college credit. We also offer the following benefits:

Fashion Mingle is located in New York City. This is primarily a remote position that requires communication by email, phone, and online meetings with team members. Occasional attendance may be required at events and meetings if your are in the NYC metro area.
