Celebrities Razzle Dazzle In Red During New York Fashion Week

As I’m sure many of you are aware that heart disease is the #1 killer of women. This exclusive event was founded by The Heart Truth, in conjunction with the American Heart Association and Macy’s. The mission of the show is to bring awareness to women to protect their heart health and inspire them to make the necessary changes in their lives. According to GoRedForWomen.Org, ‘80% of cardiac episodes can be deterred with the proper education and lifestyle changes.’
This season, nineteen of the country’s top designers, models and celebrities hit the runway and strutted their stuff for not only their themselves, but for their families and other loved ones who might have struggled with heart disease.
The celebrity models were: Ciara, Thalia, Bethany Mota, Kristin Cavallari, Cynthia Bailey, Donna Mills, Hoda Kotb, Dascha Polanco, Laverne Cox, Catt Sadler, Tracy Anderson, Valerie Garduno, Irina Pantaeva, Star Jones, Alexa Ray Joel, Carla Hall, Jeannette McCurdy, Zendaya, Barbara Eden and Fifth Harmony.
The models took to the spotlight and twirled around in designers such as: Badgley MischkaMonique Lhuillier, Romona Keveza, Michael Costello, Donna Karan, b. Michael, Tamara Mellon, Agnes Hamerlik and Oscar de la Renta.
