Meet Beth Smith
Beth Smith founded several businesses with one goal in mind: to help entrepreneurs succeed. After 15 years with a technology media company, she left behind the corporate world in 2009 to help mom entrepreneurs balance business and life.
Smith co-founded the national print magazine Hybrid Mom which was distributed through Barnes and Noble, Simon Properties, HSN, and Gymboree Play & Music Centers. She oversaw the expansion of the brand to an online website and was named in Forbes “Top Websites for Women” in 2010 and 2011, and captured a Stevie Award for Women Helping Women.
In 2013, Beth transitioned the company into Shopfunder, an innovative crowdfunding platform that allowed people to fundraise when shopping an online marketplace of independent designers.
After meeting Melissa Shea in early 2015 on a New York State business networking site, the two serial entrepreneurs realized they shared the same passion to help the fashion community and teamed up to build the first and only marketing platform for fashion professionals.
Fashion Mingle is positioned to become the central hub for fashion professionals who need to grow their business.
