Which Pinterest Fashion Board will win at the 5th Annual Fashion 2.0 Awards?

The 5th Annual Fashion 2.0 Awards are upon us and there are several outstanding fashion brands in the running for Best Pinterest category. The following nominees have pin boards that reflect their brand’s impeccable eye for fashion trends and demographic styling:

Fashion 2.0 Best Pinterest Board Nominees

• Free People – For the “free spirit” within every young woman, there is a Free People Pinterest page, chock full of pins to inspire the mind, body and soul. Through the lenses of fashion, art, music and travel, Free People’s Pinterest captures the essence of the contemporary young woman, enthralled by wanderlust. My favorite board from Free People is Scenes from the Office.
• J. Crew – Playing off the timeless adage that opposites attract, the style team at J. Crew understand that “sometimes things that don’t seem to go together, do.” The J. Crew Pinterest page promotes understated elegance with fun, classic styles that are shown via color story-based pins and creative uses of textiles. J. Crew also pins style guides and inspiration boards for Menswear and general male fashion. The J. Crew City Wedding Pin Board is my favorite because it is classically chic!
• Kate Spade – Highlighting New York, the world’s most watched city for new fashion and lifestyle trends, is Kate Spade. The Kate Spade New York Pinterest boards are filled with patterns, vibrant colors, and travel inspiration pins. Giving fashionistas a sneak peek in the wild world of New York Fashion Week, Kate Spade New York’s Fashion Week: Behind the Curtain sets the bar for most up-to-date fashion pinners on the web.
• Nordstrom – Known for keeping fashionable women and men in the style loop is fashion specialty retailer Nordstrom. The Nordstrom Pinterest boards spark style interest within followers with pins for office and workday fashions, party decor, encouraging quotes, and DIY tips. Nordstrom’s Our Favorite Things board has the FashionMingle.net team fawning over shoes, accessories, travel destinations, and kids styles.
• Tory Burch – Who doesn’t love stripes, shoes, eclectic patterns, color stories, and beauty as style inspiration? The Tory Burch Pinterest boards are guides for how to look fabulous for cocktail hour and entice the inner world traveler within all of us. Tory’s Gift Guide is a favorite of mine, helping my inspiration for any given holiday.

My pick to win the Best Pinterest Category at the 5th Annual Fashion 2.0 Awards is Nordstrom for its SJP: A Day in Her Shoes Pin Board. This board is run by the incomparable Sarah Jessica Parker, who pins her favorite things during her travels. From New York to Seattle, Miami to Dallas, and several other major fashion cities SJP knows how to keep us wanting more and more pins from her. How fabulous!
